About Us
Director, Cynthia Steed has over 20 years of experience in respite care. For the majority of her career, she managed caregiving facilities and played a major role in keeping individuals interactive and safe. Over time she often met individuals who were faced with the challenge of managing their medicines, getting nutritious meals, and socialization. From inception, Cynthia vigorously pursued addressing the gap in services for quality adult day care services for the elderly while their caregivers work. Her strong desire to enhance the lives of those affected by “old-age”, as well as her belief that everyone deserves a life with meaning and purpose were the sparks of a dream of a unique adult daycare program. Her passion is to be of service and to support senior citizens, disabled adults, and their caregivers in their effort to remain independent and avoiding institutionalization.
DaShunda, graduated from The University of Memphis with a Bachelors in Professional Studies concentrating in Health Administration. She always wanted to find a way to give back to our community in a personal way. What better way than to care for the communities elderly and provide peace of mind to their families. Throughout our lives, from childhood to adulthood, community is an essential part of everyday existence. In small cities, like Jackson, community is vital in ways we can’t imagine. No matter where you grew up, it is almost certain that, in some way, the community of friends and family around you contributed positively to your formative years. This is why it is so important to support one another and their loved ones.
